It's amazing how it has been 3 years since I finished this, An now, here is the source:

Source Code (Note that this was made in GM5.2 and uses registered features).

If you want the EXE's instead:
Sonic Ze with WMA music (26.69 MB) (You will need to download this if you want bg music)
Sonic Ze with MIDI music (2.71 MB)

You are free to use anything from the source, but it would be nice if you credit me for it. Just don't do things like copy whole levels or copy all of the game and replace my name with your name.

All of the controls and other info are included in the Instructions, but I'll post the controls here anyway:
Left Arrow = Move Left
Right Arrow = Move Right
Jump = Control
Look Up = Up
Look Down = Down

Cheat Codes
Level Select:
Type iwantacourse at the title screen, and then press Space & Enter for Level Select, or Control & Enter for Boss Select & Sound Test.

Free Roam Mode (Debug Mode):
Type gottodebugitnow at the title screen. In the game, press F6 to enable/disable debug mode, and while in debug mode press B to free roam (and press B to return to Sonic).

I am also working on a better version (Sonic Ze DX) which will fix a lot of the bugs still present and make a lot of updates to many of the levels along with new content.

Yeah, I know the host has a lot of popups. But I'll be using 64 digits for the re-release.

For the link, it should say Download Now next to Sonic Ze next to Program Name.

Try GM5.3a. I may have accidentally saved it using it and there shouldn't be any issues using it over GM5.2.

Release a non-installer version. Anyway, this is a very well made but a disgrace to everything Sonic in that HE ISN'T BLOODY FAST. THE WHOLE POINT OF THE WHOLE SERIES IS THAT ITS FAST.

the final boss sprite is awesome, but 1. how the hell do you kill him, 2. you go down to -5 rings, 3. one shot from him can kill u depending on how ur hit.
and until you fix 2 things this dosnt classify as a sonic game.... you run waaaaaaay too slow, and theres no spindash or roll, atleast have the roll!

This looks interesting... I may use it for some platform action games.
