I don't know if this is what you mean... you can google what's my ip and you'll find your ip. This is for a MPOG or 2-way game?

I find my ip address by doing this...

1. Hit start then run.

2.
-----A. For win 95/98 type in "winipcfg".
-----B. For win ME/2000/xp type in "ipconfig".

3.hit run and see your ip address.

That might help if what's my ip does not work right. tongue.gif
otherwise I cant help.

I have a question, in the client, in the code, should I put in the server's IP adress or the player who is playing's ip adress?

you must use the ip of the server. If a player wants to connect to your
server, he must use your ip to connect, and you must tell him what is
your ip. To find your ip use www.whatismyip.com

192.0.0.1 is the ip of your computer, if you are making a game and you
want to test it, open the server program and host the game, then open
the client program and connect it to the ip "192.0.0.1" or to "localhost".
