Constants Expansion Pack (v1.1)

Adds 50+ constants to your game. Including a-z and 0-9 for keyboard functions (Example, vk_w or vk_5), and 4 commonly used directions (example, di_up).

Rather simple explanation. I'll be adding more as I go along, and if people have suggestions for more constants, I just might at it.

I've updated the expansion pack. While there are no new constants, I've added 3 color related functions to generate random colors (one light, one dark, and one over all), as well as a help file with a list of all the constants and functions.

Well, I don't have a program that can make the help file types that the extention maker accepts. Any recomendations?

As for functions, thats not what this expantion pack is for. It's for extending constants. That is not to say that I wont add functions, that is to say that I won't be adding them untill later.

The extension maker can use any file as a help file... even a screensaver or executable would work. Think, before you post.

Programming knowledge: (May be missing a few currently)
C, C#, C++, java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, ASP.NET, SQL, Visual Basic, Perl, assembly, batch

Temporary sig while I figure out if I have anything worthwhile to put.

They are two different values. Use vk_A for normal use of the "a" button.

The extension maker can use any file as a help file

Well, now I know. There will be a help file listing all the constants in the next update.

EDIT
I've updated the expantion pack. While there are no new constants, I've added 3 color related functions to generate random colors (one light, one dark, and one over all), as well as a help file with a list of all the constants and functions.

To tell you the truth, I only added it to be consistant, and I don't know what it could be used for.

I think you should really remove the lowercase constants(vk_a, vk_b, etc.).

They apparently show no use.

I tried pressing the "A" key with and without shift to see if it gives a different result.

Yeah, I'm going to remove the lower case constants and replace them with something else. What, I don't know yet.

Maybe because it's a 4-year-old topic? Why would you resurrect it?

This might be unnecessary, but I've uploaded some constants used like all letters and numbers on the keyboard aswell as directional constants, so if anyone wants to use them, just visit http://pastebin.com/qxBv0enn and copy the text from that page and save it into a text file, and 'Load' them into your constants window.
