Version 3 Weather Lib

NOTE: I am looking for a background pic to make it look less bleak, boring, and unconnected with a game. a simple top down grass is really all i need, a building may be nice. Thank you.

Last Update: December 9th(not many new suggestions)

This lib draws different weather things, like rain, snow, and cloud shadows!
It comes with an example, and a readme file.
http://img263.images...nshot100ts1.jpg(Rain)
http://img263.images...nshot102lx7.jpg(Snow)
http://img263.images...nshot105yl7.jpg(Clouds)

Update Info:[]
Draw Clouds Advanced
Draw Rain Advanced
Now better sprites for clouds

Included Tiles:
Start Weather Engine
Sun Strength
Rain
Snow
Clouds(shadows)
Lightning
Seasonal Random
Rain/Snow Object Create
Rain/Snow Usage
Draw Lighting by Clock Time
Draw Clouds Advanced
Draw Rain Advanced

I put in all the sprites from the graphics topic thats all thats new, so you can stop saying the graphics stink!

because they have nothing to do with each other, they are complete different libraries, one does time, the other does weather.

This is ugly!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yeah! It´s much prettier to do, when you use the normal draw functions. Or just particles! But... anyway... It´s a good idea, and you should get some probs on that one! That´s a pro, and this is the contra: The graphics are HORRIBLE! GO FIX IT, BEFORE I FIX... [offtopic]lunch is ready... uhmm! it tastes good![/offtopic] where was i? uh... nevermind....

the graphics are fixable!(i know the cloud is well, wierd, im working on that) they are user chosen, not fixed sprites, it makes some of these comments seem wierd.

oh, and the "ugly" comments, i would like to improve it and am open to suggestions, so if you say "its ugly", then please tell me why you think its ugly so it can be changed.

i made this non-registered, because i needed a non-registered weather system and couldnt use particles, i was stuck, so i made this to make it easier. it was just purely for non-registered intent.

EDIT:the "weater engine" is now fixed to "weather engine"

Gah! My eyes! I'm blinded! These are horrible (no offense) in comparison with effects and particles.

-Chessdude
i know, i think thats been astablished here
-beedy
who you talking to, me or someone else?

from popular demand( :D )ive decided to let someone else do the sprites(please hold the applause)
if youve got a good sprite, pm me with the image link and it will be in the next version!

on about the particles:
be glad you are registered, I hope this makes you appreciate particles! as i bet anyone thats not registered and knows what a particle is wishes they could use them

known facts:
a)my sprites stink
b)particles are 100x better(and easier) than lots(and lots) of objects
c)no one likes to comment about the actual library!(kidding... well, sort of. unless the ugly comment was the actual lib, in which case im still waiting for replies of how to make it better)

Maybe you should set it to the real weather in an optional area. EX: Because Bejing has rain it will be set to rain in the game.

I think that would be neat! P.S. Be ready for the Sun. B)
