B) !!!the new update is really good!!! B)

you should add something so that you can choose where things come out like to make rain or snow come out of clouds and so that you can choose where clouds come out. another suggestion is that there should be a sprite for the sun!!!!! B)

You can add some things in the lib. :( :(
:( rain in a cloud, cloud growing before raining, clouds going dark, effect when rain drops on floor
:) sun drawing,sun light beam
:P snowflakes stop on the floor, snow mountains, full of snows on floor
:) lightning(with flashing),lightning on high(low y) buildings
....

You can also add more shadow functions for those registered users. :)

ok so um, i have a few images that work pretty well for rain and clouds, but it requires you to be registered

thought you might like them...

clouds

rain

ok the code that goes with them is

clouds
back={what ever you called your background}
draw_set_blend_mode(bm_subtract)
dy+=.5
dx+=.5
draw_background_tiled(back,dx,dy)
draw_set_blend_mode(bm_normal)

rain
back={what ever you called your background}
draw_set_blend_mode(bm_subtract)
    d+=3
    draw_background_tiled(back,d,d)
draw_set_blend_mode(bm_normal)

its a pretty awesome effect

the only thing with adding registered functions to this is i dont have the registered version so i cant test any of it, so... and i really dont want to release a bugged up version.

@nicetas c: i like the ideas but im not quite sure what u mean by:
"lightning with flash", because i thought it was already in there.
"lightning on high buildings", do u mean like have lightning strike a target? or what? and please remember this is not meant to be a platformer if thats what you are thinking of because lightning is so hard to draw and not look like you are using the same sprite over and over and over.
"snow flakes stop on the floor", already does.
"snow mountains" and "full of snow on floor" is all spriting, not really part of the lib.
"sun drawing" only needed in a platformer.
"ray of sun" i like the possibilities of this one, little difficult, yes, and i may need to ask a bit about doint something like that, but possible.
"rain in a cloud" i think this is an only platformer.
"cloud growing before raining" platformer, unless u want me to make the sprite bigger, which means spriting again, and registered.
"clouds going dark" when it rains, it already makes it darker.
"effect when rain drops on floor", what, like change sprite to splash?
u can pm me if u want to clear something up

@revolution games:as i said earlier, i wouldnt be able to test it. i love the sprite and the idea though, if i had registered, it would definately be in there

keep the ideas coming!

after sitting dormant for a long time, i have decided to add some registered features to this. At the moment i cannot test them and this will delay the release by some because of the time it takes to transfer back and forth with a registered user.

Basically im saying:
Im back, and I NEED FUNCTIONS! Now i am accepting any suggestion, registered or not.

i have already added some of the registered suggestions and im trying to get some testing done for bugs because i dont want to release a frustrating library, plz be patient and bring on the requests

is there a way to set the depth of the lightning, so that objects are affected also and not just the background?

This is ugly!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yeah! It´s much prettier to do, when you use the normal draw functions. Or just particles! But... anyway... It´s a good idea, and you should get some probs on that one! That´s a pro, and this is the contra: The graphics are HORRIBLE! GO FIX IT, BEFORE I FIX... [offtopic]lunch is ready... uhmm! it tastes good![/offtopic] where was i? uh... nevermind....

I completely agree... Needs better graphics!
Pleeeeeaaaase get better clouds... Since when are colouds like that black? only storm clouds are black and they aren't storm clouds!

Have a calendar, create action, and a weather forecast display action, and a clock action, for showing the time, whether it be Analog, or Digital, etc, so it's more weather related, how ever for in game weather, blizzards, cyclones, hurricanes, wirl winds, and u get the idea, floods, title waves, natural disasters.
