You should also add transformations for the x and y axis.

I'm really digging this libary Sakisa, but what the point of using it to draw polygons when the only transformations are rotation and scaling?

It would be perfect if you added the option to add transfortaions to say, all the coordinates. (So you could turn cones on there side and whatnot.)

Hoping you add this :)

Very good, a real timesaver.
The only thing I don't like is the space.
It takes up too many actions...
An easy way to fix this is use menu items with the switch event

For more info, read what I wrote Here

Well, I'm sorta looking into how to make a dungeon crawl. And it's nice you have a tutorial. But without a detailed-simplified guide on how to use each action, people looking at the tutorial won't understand what they're looking at. That's my case, and the gmFPS tutorial on yoygames isn't simplified.

Very useful, thanks. Just one question. In the 3rd person view, the player's sprite is flat. How can I make it ummm... 3d like.It would be useful if you could tell me. I'd give it 9.9/10

FPS creator....is just for people who can't code, this is a nice and helpful .lib that really makes functions, such as d3d cameras, alot smoother. Now instead of having to write out the same code for every 3D game, you can just drag and drop two things, and you have a camera.

This is also really helpful for people who aren't quite as good at coding but enjoy producing games with GM as much as an actual programmer--which I got the impression was the whole point of GM in the first place. The example is great but I'd like to see one that utilizes every function. I don't see why that or documentation is such a ridiculous request, unless you're all trying to deter everyone who isn't an expert user from using GM.

Yeah, old thread, but the link still works and I've been toying with the example, so I'm posting. And yeah, I've read the klunkily-phrased GM help files and tutorials. It doesn't hurt to paraphrase Overmars.

How does the "draw light" D&D code work? I've been trying to fiddle around with it but no matter what I try I just can't get it to work.

You have to unzip the file and then add the .LIB file that came in the Zip file into LIB folder in the GameMaker folder.
