/\lex <{POST_SNAPBACK}>: I am not a member on this forum for very long, I just thought about posting it here a few days ago actually...
jengajam <{POST_SNAPBACK}>: Thanks
syth184 <{POST_SNAPBACK}>: About a fast forward option, you're right but the engine is a bit too CPU-intensive to properly allow that.
Firesoft <{POST_SNAPBACK}>: Did you try the download link I gave to someone in my previous reaction? You can look it up if you want. If you email me your email address, I can send it to you by email. My email is erikleppen at hotmail dot com.
tahnok100 <{POST_SNAPBACK}>: I was glad to finally have finished the game, I think making a level editor costs a big amount of time and I don't think I am motivated enough to spend that much time on it again. Especially because the game is already a few months old, it is hard to "get into" the code again. Maybe some time in a far future I might want to make a game like this with an editor, provided I can program a faster physics engine.
chicken <{POST_SNAPBACK}>: Thanks. The game is meant to be simple, so people who aren't experienced in building stuff that has gravity, can also enjoy it.
mmm <{POST_SNAPBACK}>: I don't think posting the editable of the entire game is a better idea than posting an example. Why? The entire game consists of a whole bunch of sprites, objects and other resources so that less experienced users don't know how to begin at investigating it. When I post an example, it would contain a few sprites, one or two objects, one or two scripts and that's about it. That is much more intuitive, it is much clearer what is going on. Besides, I am not the best coder when it comes down to an entire game, as I don't really "plan ahead" when coding. So to answer your question, no I am not going to post the editable of my entire game, and that has three reasons.
1. I really don't think that will "bridge the gap between the noobs and the experts", as "noobs" won't know what to do with it anyway and experts can do these things themselves, especially since I explained how it works.
2. Users that understand the engine, are experienced enough to build a game around it theirselves and therefore should do so. Users that understand the engine but happen to not be experienced enough to build menus, should learn to build them anyway and can do so by asking on the appropriate subforums. Giving answers doesn't help people as much as telling them how to get those answers. So I am not giving answers by posting editables of my entire game.
3. I just don't want users that I don't know to have the possibility to change my game and possibly doing things that shouldn't happen (e.g. release my game as theirs).
About examples, I'll see what I can do. The fact that there's people waiting increases the probability of me indeed posting an example. I am very busy however. Can someone please PM me about how to distribute an example to this community? Because, as I think this subforum is not appropriate for that.

Hmm. If I didn't, then this is not the newest version...Its really fun and all but dont you think you should credit the original?

I'm not sure whether old save files work, because in this version the save system is also changed to prevent cheating...oh and it has an in-game cheat...
Enjoy!

The only thing this game is missing is music. And maybe a nice menu. Other than that, this game is perfect.

I have beaten all levels. I had to, because I had to determine the budget in which it was possible. So, yes I have. In my own savegame, I don't have finished level 50 because it is really hard but I know I have solved the level in order to detemine its budget. Also level 50 is a bit too big...Is it possible to beat all levels? i mean level 28 and 42..I mean cmon.
Have YOU beaten them!?
In particular, 28 and 42 are possible
If you mean that there are no anchors at the top left and top right, that is supposed to be that way.I think there is a bug in lvl 19

No chance of a solution?
I'm enjoying this quite a bit. Reminds of those simple games in the mid 90's, which was pretty good for a lazy sunday afternoon. Quiet, peaceful and some time for you toy around and experiment with things.
Marvellous physics being applied here, as many have also highlighted.

Or mabye this "original" originated from this original (look for Bridge Construction Set). Or mabye it was the other way around, dunno. Its really fun and all but dont you think you should credit the original?
also a brighter background would differeciate it and make it a more "cheerfull" game
Anyways, it's a great game
