Stats.
Size = 500kb ZIPPED
Type = Standard GM Inst
Amount (Colors) = 250+
Extension Number = #1

Information
This is a GM color extension containing over 250+ colors that were not included in gamemaker.
There are other examples of this around the forum but this was the first ever to be made (but was never released until gm7 came out). Please try and tell me what you think. This is the standard .gex file that you will have to install yourself. Thankyou.

Always wanted to have such readymade common names of colours instead of making colours out of RGB ... nice work.

One request ... list the possible colour categories in the first page.

Cool, I like this as it only delivers more variables, not functions...
I have yet to explore into the world of using other users scripts, mostly becouse I have not needed to go for faster functions than those already existing in GM or those done with GML by myself.

and I like the colors... hope you expand this sometime in the future...but even if you dont do that I'll be happy.

Maybe you should add a color merger, and make it support a ton load of colors instead of like GMS color merger which only supports two, and a blend amount.
What do you think?

file_open_write("proof.txt");
file_write_string(string(c_white));
file_close();

There are 16, 777, 216.

Color $000000 (black) or int 0

-thru-

Color $ffffff (white) or int 16, 777, 215

You still have to count the color black, even though it is zero. Remember that computers begin counting at zero.

Yes there are a total of 16777216 colors but I meant that the max color that can be drawn is 16777215.

color 16,777,215 (white) is still the 16,777,216th color... what are you trying to say? Technically black is not a color... but its still one of the 16,777,216 values that can be set as a 24 bit color... :skull:

The download doesn't work -- anyone have a copy of this? I moved GM from one computer to another and can't work on my game until I get this again (or else change all the code that references it).

Wait, never mind, I just noticed you have a working link further into the thread. You may want to edit the first post to link to that one instead of the broken one.
