Isn't there already a growth system?
I didn't notice it at first because it's so gradual, but once I died after playing for a while and started again, I was kinda surprised at how small the worm starts out tongue.gif

still 10/10

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! happy.gif
the_real_gumby This is the first official version. That's why it's "v1.00." I might still do some adjustments.
Lucky7 There was. In the "Work in Progress" section.

Ha. Very nice, I like the physics (though they're a little tough to get used to) and the graphics. The creatures aren't really very detailed, but they're pretty funny to watch, and I like the explosions. The menu seems very incongruous with the rest of the game, though, and the lens flare is annoying.

Also, this game has got some great variety. Very impressive. The concept, too, is pretty original, and pretty well-executed. Nice job.

9/10. I loved it but it would of been more retro if you made the graphics less detailed.

I agree. However, my next game is really, really retro-styled. "Robot Attack 4000."

Jabberwock:
Thanks for the feedback. There will be an option to turn off the lens flare in the next update.

My score is 1900.
Great game!
The only thing I don't like are the pillow shaded sprites.
They would look better if you didn't try to shade them at all.
I could help you with the sprites if you want me to.

You can abuse those little worms pretty well by just letting them multiply for a while and then eat them.
I don't find that bad but it starts lagging if there are a many little worms though, maybe that is because of the 'digging trace' they leave behind them.
A population limit for underground creatures could help there.

Tremors was one of my favorite movies growing up. Because of this I really enjoy games with monster worms. (And games that rip off the movie case. tongue.gif ) The graphics are pretty good and the sounds are fine, but the game play and feel stands out the most to me. I really enjoy the speed of your worm and the crunching noise and a bite into the next camel. Keep up the good work. smile.gif

New version uploaded. (1.01)

9_6 You were right about the sprites. They look much better without the borders/shading. Thanks. I also limited the diggers.
Andy Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.

I also fixed some other things, so you might want to replace the older version with this.

Best Game ive played in while! loved jumping out if the sand to snatch a bird, an then come crashing down on another poor animal that had the bad luck to get in the jaws of the death worm. one sugestion. since the way you set it up it like a mini game, you should make limited saving, that way it not so easy to get a milloin points, and kinda evens out gameplay.

and if you want another rating. 10/10

WHOA! AWESOME!

Congratulations! You get a well earned, highly valuable, super-cool, very rare, wonderful, great, powerful, unique, never-before-seen, first time, rating from Firesoft, a 10/10!!

Small note: I actually made a game that has pretty much the exact same physics engine when the worm jumps out of the ground... I used it in an airplane game. Very good game indeed! Very original!
