So if you're using firefox does it embed firefox into the game? or does it still use windows IE? With the new security flaw found in Internet Explorer, I'd like to know if its safe to use this still.

It uses IE engine

I think just IE, unless the DLL can detect what your default browser is.
Which would be a good idea *hint hint*

Its nothing todo with the default browser, it uses the IE activeX, Firefox dont have an ActiveX to embeb in windows app's.
The IE engine is used, there is a way to embeb the xulrunner into an application but its hard and requires lots of hacking

Ah, I see.

Could you possibly add a "Check URL" Function? or would that be too hard...

Example:
global.url = tWebURLCheck()
draw_text(100,100,global.url)

This is great, thanks for the dll. It's just what I needed... well almost. Might there be a way to check if the page has loaded? That's all I need other then that.

Well I figured as much... I was just saying... Wonder if there's a way to do it without adding on to the dll.

This will come in handy for sure. Good job. All though, it reads code the same, alternative way as Internet Explorer. I'm guessing that's because it's based of Internet Explorer.

Ill be fair and say i dont usually drop comments when i try things out.
But this is by far the best web browser example made by Game Maker that i have ever seen. Its simple, flexible, and it doesnt take a pro to be able to tailor it to your own needs. I applaud Porfirio for his great work.
