hi, i havent been on these forums since, well, a good 1 or 2 years and im making my way back to gamemaker, and my project is gonna be a game similar to GTA but much more fun and much less limited... and i was wondering if it was atall possible to add a realtime render into the game so that the graphics look as good as they can get without affecting the FPS and give it a much more proffesional feel... i havent yet started so i have nothing to show but any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers

Yes it is possible but not in gamemaker.
If you want to do some REAL real0time stuff and dynamic stuff go to www.ogre3d.org (non-gm)
Well there maybe be some ways in gm to do shadows and stuff but not real-time just a static movement but norhing more.
And it does take a real shot at the fps.
