Hello everyone ;)

Yea I just got bored today and I've just got all these Mosquito sounds together from 8kHz - 22.4 kHz which all ages should be able to hear 1 or more sounds except for the deaf.

Anyways here are the instructions:

Left Click - Play Sound, click on another sound will stop previous or you can press stop.
Right Click - Explains which ages should hear it.

Here are the frequencies:

8KHz - Everyone
10KHz 60 & Younger
12KHz - 50 & Younger
14.1KHz - 49 & Younger
14.9KHz - 39 & Younger
15.8KHz - 30 & Younger
16.7KHz - 24 & Younger
17.7KHz - 24 & Younger
18.8KHz - 24 & Younger
19.8KHz - 24 & Younger
21.1KHz - 24 & Younger
22.4KHz - 24 & Younger

Note: For the 24 & Younger sounds you may not hear some.

Safety and Agreement:

These sounds will hurt the ear so if you download this program and listen to the sounds you will agree that I will not hold any responsibility if it damages you or anything else nor will the producers of the sounds.

Download Link:

Size: 1.056mb compressed, 1.150mb uncompressed.

Happy Annoying People !!! ;)

PS: Sorry the graphics aren't the best... I had to use black and white because the preloaded sounds took up quite a bit of memory usage and I didn't want to put the sounds in a file so instead I put them in the exe... alright I'm lazy I admit I didn't want to use GML... <_<

i think the limitation is from the speakers.
its somewhat neet otherwise. however when you said: "Yea I just got bored today and I've just got all these Mosquito sounds together from 8kHz - 22.4 kHz which all ages should be able to hear except for the deaf no offense."
... i just couldnt... dude wtf theres nothing even remotly offensive in that statment in ANY WAY what the hell?!

anyway, the limitations morelikely in the speakers, not the human

It is actually the human who has limitations with the hearing. For example: person A hears all sounds except 3 of the 24 and Younger ones while person B hears only Everyone and 60 and younger. The speakers can or should be able to project the sounds except it is if the human can convert the frequencies.

I couldn't hear 22.4KHz. sad.gif

Yea there isn't much of a point but it is quite a good thing to use in computer class if your a kid. Teachers won't hear some frequencies while students can and when they complain the teacher doesn't care cause he can't hear and won't believe unless he knows about the Mosquito Sounds which some teachers don't.

your higher frequinces sounded lower then some of your low frequincies, and i seriously doubt the speakers can manage over 24 khz

Heh, now my ears are ringing. Great and accurate game nontheless. I could hear up to 18.8 and I'm 13. My mom could hear up to 14.1 and she's 50. So, that's VERY accurate.

@Qjet:

It's not the speakers because my baby sister (1 year old) was crying when I played the 22.4 frequency. And no she wasn't crying from the earlier ones, I did highest number to lowest.

Great game:

ok im in a university class right now with my laptop, filled with people under 24 years of age.

edit: tested it, put it at 24 khz and put my volume at full, i didn't hear anything and not one head even flinched.

... ...

but my ears hurt a little for some reason... that may be a placebo, it may be for real.

So im not saying this is disproven, and your baby sister reacting is another point to it.

Ay, now that test won't work. What's the farthest one they can hear to? 17.7 at most? The younger you are the more you can hear. These kids in your university, growing up with the "moving music" generation probably have damaged their ears pretty badly too.

Keep trying it on other people.

thull. thats a BAD conclusion.
1st of all
i heard all of the tones except the very last one, i grew up with them listning to loud music
2nd, this was a computer class, with about 30% being korean (fairly strait laced people)
3rd this is a sample of well over 30 people. and not ONE person picked up on it, logic dictates at least ONE person would of picked up on it if it was audible.

as far as a scientific proof, that aint bad.
edit:

this little girl can pick up on 44 Khz frequincies
no reaction.

Do you guys actually have computers in your classroom? Oops! Got a little off-topic! I think it´s a nice program, and i could hear all the sounds! (some of them where REALLY loud!)
