Hmm... two questions just disappeared from this topic...
Maybe another forum error.
Anyway, I'll just answer them

Q: Can I get the object names of the soccer ball and others? I want to hack your simulator!!
A: You can't execute GML any more, because I've build an interpreter for the NQC and NXC language.
That's why you can use a "while(true)" statement without any problem.
Too bad for you!

Q: The simulator closed right after launching it!
A: Can you answer the following questions:
Did you unzip the package?
Did you launch the executable in the original folder "Robot Simulator"?
Did the folder "Robot Simulator" contain a folder "system" with a lot of DLL's and stuff?

If so, I'll send you a modified version to track what is occurring.

Edit:Oh, they didn't disappear, they were 2 year old posts from the first page :)

We used Mindstorms in our first programming project in college and it would be nice to have something like this back then. So great work man!
Great!

With this programme I can see the simulation in my computer screen right ... ? (What it will look like if I use the code on real robot) ...

Is there the possibility to actually control an actual lego robot through this programme ? After I coded and simulated its behaviour in your programme , can I play the actual robot according to the commands sent by computer bluetooth or infra-red to the robot's reciever ? I mean can we control the actual robot throgh the computer (rather your programme) ??

Yes, it is possible to program the Lego mindstorms RCX (by usb tower) or the mindstorms NXT (by usb cable).

You can program the robot in "Not Quite C" (for the RCX) or "Not eXactly C" (for the NXT).

I thought you weren't allowed installers on WIP projects...

Anyway, my anti-virus declared the download to be a virus, so you should check that out and then ill re download.

I think you mean Dutch, I'm from the Netherlands.
You can get the homepage in English also. (and the Robot Simulator in English, French, Dutch)

The DLL used to download updates may be called a virus by your scanner.

please please stop reviving dead AI topics...
if the topic is two years old with a broken link then please resort to PMing the OP, finding a more recent example, or getting help in the novice forums
