Thanks for correcting me.

Makes it look nicer, and makes it fit in with the XP theme a bit more.
Oh, and I think I may know how the guy who made these did it...

1. If you open the original libs in WordPad, or NotePad, or something like that, Crimson Editor, what the hell do I care, you'll find that the official libraries don't have scripts for their actions... they have a reserved function, such as "action_snaptogrid", and these are NOT documented.

2. From these functions, you can quickly replicate the official libraries, no problem.

3. To get the nice fancy new graphics, you have to simply open GM, take a screenshot or two of the different libraries, and rip the images simple as that. Then just update them to XP format...

4. Insert them into your home-made replacement lib...

5. Find the lib ID in NotePad or whatever you're using of the original lib, and your home-made replacement.

6. Change the home-made ID to the reserved lib one. Do this in NotePad, NOT in LibBuilder.

7. Remove the original lib, and replace with the modified, home-brewed lib, and TA-DA! You'll have it re-skinned.

Simple as that!

If the color wasn't that ugly tan, maybe I would use them.

Gray is perfect.

@cb43568: that won't work, because Notepad and the likes do not reserve certain characters like the Null character (0). If you try to do that, you will corrupt the lib.
Also, I suggest you don't advertise such hacking tutorials on the GMC - it will encourage users to hack GM-related things and violate the license agreement.

i still dont see the point all they do is change the images it does nothing to the game so i see no point(plus it might stuff up your copy of gmaker)

It won't stuff up your copy of GM. It just makes the D&D actions look different. It's called Æsthetics.

God, just email Mark and if he uses them he'll use them and if he won't, he won't. Nothing to argue over.

Yeah, I opened it in word (A blank lib, A home made replica lib and a clear lib) compared all of them and found out just few things different. Only thing is that my win98 that had that info f*cked up. DAMN!!!! :(
I got my new XP though, so I might be able to do it again easier with the upgraded word.

Nice images, downloaded them so I can use them, in my own libraries / extensions. Can't see a valid reason whatsoever to alter the original libraries myself.

Change libfile.lib to libfile.txt (Rename it)
Or just open notepad and then load the lib file.

I like the idea by emailing mark the images and letting him decide.
