Version 1.1 is available. The game should work with Windows Vista. You need version 1.04 to be able to play the updated version. Check my first post.

Edit: I am working on a new game now, this would also be a remake, but much much higher quality. It's about 10 month in development and about 30% finished. Most problem part is the large levels that is kinda frustrating, not hard to do, but hard to start. However, I got help from some people with music, graphics, and level design. I don't know how much will it take to finish.
I said that so you don't think that I was updating my old game for the whole year :D

Very nice. It replicated that old NES feel quite well.

This game is really like the original.

However, is it not the only clone..
in the past I made exact clone of that game but never released it.
Just because it is an exact clone, even with the level editor and the two-players mode.

After I created the NESremakes "brand", with my Lode Runner PGS II game, also the WIP game, too old project, Super Mario Plus, I will probably add more features to my od bomberman clone and the TANK clone and will release them. (Ideas for all that games is skin support, online level sharing and multiplayer features)

5000 Downloads!!!!

I put a new link to the updated version, so now you don't have to download updates separately. Old links are still working, in case someone made a reference to them. I also edited the first post, now it's easier to read. My language is bad, but back then it was beyond horrible.

I wish my other games had the same download rate. I mean, my last demo got only 2 downloads in one week and only 4 downloads in total.

- Optimized sound files
- Optimized volumes
- Fixed bug with freezing animations after entering hiscore
- Level Editor should work with Windows 7/Vista

Seems to be pretty well made and of good quality. You did a good job.

Personally I'm not a fan of this type of gameplay and its a bit boring to me. +10 for exceptional retro factor.
