Music processing software, saves in midi format, a few other formats, and its own .mz format. 30 day trial (though it really lasts more than that) and trial restarts every time there is an update. Full version is about $100 US. Geared more toward people who edit using a music staff. I use it all the time.

I think the first posting needs to be a bit more specific, what the links are for..
Especially in the "tools" section, someone who doesn't already know the program also doesn't have a clue what the software is for. This leads to confusion, and after somebody tried the first few links, he may be sure that it's way a better idea just to open a topic asking about the software.
What happens?
Yes, this new topic will be closed, because "it's everything in the pinned topics" - alright, I also do refer to the pinned topics, but what, if they're just not sorted enough? ...for this, I suggest, it would be a good idea, if someone took the time to make such a nice sorted topic like in the Graphics Forum, which has a special pinned topic for Graphic Programs, where all mentioned programs are sorted on purpose, wheter they're freeware, and also with a small text, what the program is for (and what not)...

i've just opened up my own site where you can download free, original music for use in any of your projects. i write most of them, so you dont have to worry about it being illegal.

Industrial Studios

i can also host your music if you wish. at the moment i'm not taking requests, but i'll post there when i am.

May I shortly give feedback to the tracks on your page?

Some of the mp3s really were good (like that soothing one, it is great), still most of the midis don't erm... say, I didn't like them at all, sorry (don't take it personally) ;)

Personally I dont like too many of the MIDIs there either, except you looked... errr... listened to them half an hour too early. I just uploaded a couple more. :( One of them I think is alright, but the other... well, thats up to you. Thanks for the comments though ;)

And... errr... sorry about being off topic. Kinda.

...a groovy site for unique sound effects and music downloads.

They do game sound design as well.

Interesting stuff.

No, don't convert your MP3s to WMA. Don't convert anything to WMA.

1. Converting a lossy file format to another lossy format degrades quality. No, changing to WAV and THEN to the second format will not help.

2. The latest LAME encoding w/ VBR is still better than WMA by far. OGG is also far superior.

For all sorts of Mario music (Including SSBM with all character sounds) go to Avoided Destiny and click on MP3s.
