SuperFrog
Heart of the World
Demo

Link: http://www.savefile.com/files/1404224
Rapidshare Mirror: http://rapidshare.de...d_Demo.zip.html
Type: 2D Platform - Shooter
Screenies: |1||2||3|

The first SuperFrog game produced to Amiga PC. Since then, there has never been a SuperFrog game...

...since now...

This is my own engine; not 360 degrees Sonic engine. %50 Codes, %50 D&D...

Controls are written in the game..

EDIT: I NEED COMMENT! If you have played the game, please post a comment; whether the game is truly bad...

Pretty nice. (You rated my game, I rate yours)
I didn't like the movement that much though.
The tounge was pretty low quality. I reccommend you use a sprite and use lengthdir.

This is pretty cool! If you are reading this and dont want to try it, try it. I have only one problem and one question though. The problem is the running causes you to fall off too often. The question is what are the tokens for?

haha, the tokens give points, and points unlock the features...
Also, 75 tokens give you a live. It's not important in the demo, but the full version will have 5 or 6 levels; so lives will be very important...

hey! Not a bad game! The graphics are pretty good. You should go on to finish it, just because you dont get many comments, doesn't mean your game sucks.

And I used to think maybe I was the only one around here who played Superfrog. Used to play it a hell of a lot on my Amiga and still emulate it.

Anyways this is ok but didn't feel much like the original game. The sprite is fine as it always was but the tiles look sorta substandard Sonic the Hedgehog. Keep working on it though... if ya can, cos there have been attempts at Superfrog fangames before and Team 17 have apparently stopped them as they say they got plans for the character (Last I heard anyway)

Anyway, I got a PM 5 minutes ago. Everyone resembles the engine with the 360 degrees Sonic Engine.

Nope. It's my own engine - and a very basic engine -.

I just downloaded it and played it until i was out of lives. Pretty hard, but i can see myself finishing this. I loved the original on the commodore64... Nice touch with the double-jump! But one thing strikes me, you used reverb effects on all of the midis. You should just keep them as they are, without the reverbing!

Great!
