Dark Nemesis Studios

This website was made by our team member, huge_stinker. We have gone from Red (in our early time), to purple, and now to BLUE. Our new CyberThunder theme is really beautiful!

also I'm hoping it comes off fine on whatever browser and computer you own... Please report any problems to us.

The design of the site is pretty good. :D I don't like the purple (for dark and darkness BLACK would have made more sense, but eh) but that's mostly just my opinin, and the site lay-out is very good. Once it has some actual content it should be a great site.

And what is this 'without darkness there is no light'? I mean, if there was no darkness by definition it would be because there was ONLY light. It sounds cool, but it actually makes no sense whatsoever. :|

Seems to me there was plenty of black on there. :D

But yeah, the design is good if you like purple and frames. Personally, I hate frames and using them to structure websites--it looks bad, acts weird, and like you said, many people don't allow them. I just don't see any advantage to them.

On that topic, the box with the banner code in it is really tacky. You should put the code somewhere else, in my opinion.

Also, make some mouseover effects for the nav links.

Change hosts! FreeWebs is useless, especially to one who can obviously make a site well enough to not use a template. FreeWebs is slow an unreliable. Use SiteSled ( http://www.sitesled.com/ )

CONTENT!

That's pretty much it. Overall, good job.

Well there is like two meanings.
1) without darkness, light would not exist because if everything is light then its just ther... thats the confusing one.
2)then it also means without us, there is none of our good games...(although I have none. lol)

So you can use those or maybe even come up with your own. lol.

EDIT: lol the minute I posted you did too. The host... I use freewebs cause I've had a lot of experience with it and I haven't had any problems with it for about 8 months that I've hosted sites on it. I did start like anyone with the dumb template and just progressed on freewebs. And its pretty! but I'll check out the other host. I really wanna know why everyone bashes freewebs. As you can see, my site is no template and is just as good(in most cases better) than sites I see here on other hosts. And I have been problem free :D so until I see any problems with freewebs, there is really no reason to move.

And I'll add some mouseovers. I didnt even think of that. lol. And the link thing is on the links page too but It looked plain with nothing there. so I added it to the front page too. You don't like frames? What else do you suggest I use? It's the easiest way to edit the navigation. Well tell me what you think!

Wow I wrote a lot.

its good for a freewebs site, and is definately a lot better then your previous version.
i just think that there is not enough spacing between the different sections of the site, and the font doesnt fit. also, there is too much spacing between the nav links now. be careful with your spacing man.

mmm... the iframe isnt a very good idea in the middle.

Yeah it is much better than the last one. I went with purple instead of red and solomons seal is history because nobody knew what it was. See it used to be more evil looking. It used to be red and black with evil symbols & stuff... But this one looks much nicer and is nice on the eyes!

Spacing is not a big priority and you can't get the links further together... at least I don't think so. And which font doesn't fit? Times New Roman or the one on the links? And again frames are just the easiest way to update a constantly growing website.

THANK YOU EVERYONE for the good remarks though. I like the prettiness too.

Well not exactly. On the last site I did... with the month demo. So I don;t even have the program anymore. For this site I began with the same code from the old one but had nothing to use. I edited that code to become this one.

We're now steadily growing, with 6 current members (Where's Dan has mysteriously disappeared). Also, our current spriter is overworked. Please help!
EDIT: We recently went up to #8 on GMG topsites, but we have actually been #1 on there before.

The website creator's opinion doesn't matter. It's the opinion of the users that makes a difference. I too dislike the colors, as a matter of fact.

Does it really matter about the color? What about content, and organization?
My two cents.

Color matters, as it is part of the layout. I'm not saying the website looks bad, I'm just saying that the color scheme doesn't really seem "dark."
