I'm beginning to try to make a turn-based - rpg - strategy - etc - game that is as identical to the fire emblem style as possible. However, I don't want to waste my time. Is there already a type of fire emblem-maker out there or a fire emblem type-engine(editable and available to public)?

Since I saw many people were making FE sprites, I guessed people were using them, but then I couldn't find any FE fan games.

I just want to know before I put anymore effort into the game.

This isn't really about Game Design is it? It's more of a question about whether an editable version of this game already exists.

Here's what I suggest: PM the people you say are making and/or requesting FE sprites and ask them. That's probably the fastest way to find out. You can also try using the search feature.
