I think this is great. (You should really just ignore all the bad comments, because they don't know what this is for)
Some of them think it will show if the mouse is clicked.
Some think this function is built in.
1 think that you can use autoit. (How do you build autoit into a gm game?)

Edit: Why does the mouse button simulation functions have arguments? (It always simulates the mouse at it's current position)

For those of you who say that these functions are not built in, check GM7 as the in-built functions are ONLY in GM7. These functions as in the first post are for when ever a button of any sort is pushed and when they are released (events).

I need to know, does this work outside the GM game window, or only in the game, because it may solve my problems.

Yeah, maybe....
If you have "freeze the game when the form looses focus" checked in the ops then depending on how you tell the user that a button has been pressed it won't work.
there are a few ways around it but if you just uncheck this box it should be alright!!

Edit: Sometimes this can make the game freeze if the user uses this dll outside the gm window. To use this, you must use fullscreen.

That completely defeats the whole purpose of the dll, Rendering it useless...

Despite contrary belief this does have its uses. It can be used to make macro programs for anything. I.E. Microsoft Word has recordable macros, so if you find yourself doing the same action over and over, you can just record it, and generate all those clicks at the press of a button. Very nice DLL. Simple, but very very useful. Thank You.

this works outside the gm window.. i cant seem to make the Right mouse button press to work. i have coded the up and down functions to a joypad button. It works for the left mouse button.

For example if you press the button 1 and hold it you can drag files etc... or you can tap the button to simualte a click. This also works for the middle mouse button. but NOT for the RIGHT mouse button functions.

Please can you recheck the dll??

Cool, at last I found a mouse-click-simulation which does work !

Did you notice that there is a 2 step latency between the time Sim_LeftDown(x,y); is called and the simulated click happens ? I wonder why. It's annoying.

If you put this together with the Visual Libary dll, you can make a program that enables touchscreen. :)

So, this DLL can allow an artificial mouse to click places even if the player isn't in the game?
