Well, I'm a bit confused about how to use this. Could you please explain it a bit? Does all this do is find the user's language? Does it translate strings?

Not sure this is how the dll works but just go to the control panel and select Regional and language options. You can change the language there to test.

I got a message saying "eenglish", and my computer is definately not set to English..

If it was ment to return my language, I believe there may be one or more bugs present.

Damn... it's pretty much impossible for me to bug test by myself. Which function did you use?

Hmm it seems to work perfectly.

It returns the Standard and Formats language set in Regional and Language options (Control Panel). If you change it, the dll returns the new language.. I tested it with many languages, so if it returns the wrong language it could mean your OS is in one language but your standard and formats language is set to another.

It also requires Windows NT 3.1 or later or Windows 95 or later, if that's a problem

Ah.... There's the problem. The standards and formats language is set to English (UK), but my default input language (translation?) is not....

Dll works perfect. My native language is Russian. So, it returns "Русский".
If you have some troubles with it, just look for the answer in your OS settings.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Sorry, but this DLL can not translate text.
You would have to do that manually using an online translator. You might even be able to pull it off using GMSock and some nifty PHP.

Reply in after over a year! :( You shouldn't reply to a topic that's more than a few pages back, 'coz I bet it pushed something like 39dll or the like off this page.

Great DLL though. I'm using it with Daniel-Dane's language scripts.

Oh, so you are using my scripts :(. This is good with it. Might include an example with it.

Hi Roach this dll can be usefull and cool
I have a suggestion, could you return language in the right form
For example we should be able to get
pt_PT - Portuguese of Portugal
pt_BR - Portuguese of Brazil
en_UK - English of UK
en_US - English of USA
etc....

Edit:
I forgot to say, i got "português" here <_<
