I've been playing this game for a few days now and I was really enjoying it up until the first boss with the airship.
It's just too much what with running and aiming and shooting and trying to duck all through the keyboard and I'm about to give up out of sheer frustration. Are there tips to beating this thing? I've read through some of the thread but with 34 pages it's just a little much. Any help would be appreciated. This post has been edited by ladybug: Dec 30 2006, 07:45 PM |

How can I access the things in my "items" menu? I see a symbol there for "select" but I don't know what it is.

Oh man, i love this game! 10/10! It kept me going forever. Im stuck on the part where you have to stand on switches to get the blocks onto the green squares, in some temple place, but its awesome! And to think that it was made with GM... love it!

Well, I finally beat this thing because it got stuck behind the mountain where you can get the extra ammo and I just blasted the stinker until it was finished. |

Damn, I feel like shooting myself or burning my PC, I can't play it, it gives me an unexpected error after the intro, most likely lack of a good enough laptop:
Specs: 265 MB Ram 64 VRAM, Integrated 1.4GHz Celeron M processor Windows XP Anyway, it looks like you made a very good game, grats |

QUOTE (TechnoSuperguy @ Dec 30 2006, 06:46 PM) I beat the various challenges to get rid of all the blue glowing symbols, but there is a teleporter south of the blue symbol room that I can't use because it says I have to "focus" it. You do need the bracelet - if you already have it, press C instead of enter to use it there. If not, you'll obviously need to collect it. I can't from memory direct you to the room it's in, but off the top of my head I'd suggest either checking the large round room with many exits for anywhere you haven't been yet, or return to the room with the small-view maze (if you've been there already, perhaps not) and try taking an exit South from the north entrance, instead of the default West which is usually 'illuminated' by a ring symbol. Highlight the item with the arrows, then press the Enter key. If that doesn't work, it's 'PM Sreh with an error' key. QUOTE (Milo- @ Dec 31 2006, 09:01 AM) Damn, I feel like shooting myself or burning my PC, I can't play it, it gives me an unexpected error after the intro, most likely lack of a good enough laptop: I'm not sure if Unexpected Error does in fact come from insufficient hardware, especially given that your machine should be capable of at least running it, if perhaps not all that smoothly, which is my fault. I seem to remember sound card drivers or audio codecs being mentioned in connection with Unexpected Errors... try searching the forums, perhaps? As a reminder, if anyone playing the most recent version (or close enough) finds a bug of the 'getting stuck in a wall after a room transition' flavour, please do report it. These are possibly the most difficult to fix because of their potential infrequency in a play-through, and should never happen. Thanks again. |

Ah, thanks for the help! Except now I'm stuck in Chapter 5; I don't have a clue what to do. I can't get very far in the Pyramid place before reaching a seemingly impassible wall. Maybe I need something else to get through... back to exploring! |

That gives me information on them but can I actually access them and use them for anything or is it just to show that I have them? |

Is there a walkthrough yet for any of this? I found a couple of links but then it said the file had been deleted. I'm at Chapter 2 and I'm trying to kill that flying eyeball.

Oh, nevermind, I just formatted my laptop and it runs now, seems like my Lap was filled with crap Anyway, awesome game, runs smoothly something that I didn't expected considering it's an RPG and some plataformers are already very laggy xD anyway, awesome game, if you had polished the graphics and music enough, it could be a worthy rival of the GBA and SNES RPGs I'm trying to figure how to use my items xD |

QUOTE (Ross Lam. @ Jan 2 2007, 09:41 PM) I tried that but it won't let you use certain things. Like if I want to search for Chapter 2 it will tell me there aren't enough characters and if I just put "Chapter' then I get every instance of the word Chapter in every game in the forum. But I managed to kill that eyeball thing. I just don't know what to do next. There is one little square inside the entrance that still has grey dots in it instead of red -- do I have to do something with that? I've been back and forth running from the left side to the right and back again rearranging the blocks and then shooting at the one with the circle but I have no idea whether or not I've actually completed this dungeon or not. |

Huh, I actually figured it out. OMG this game is so cool. As long as you have the patience to sit and reason the puzzles out -- which I don't
