It depends on a lot of things, when downloading, a lot of variables play in, these are:
1. Your own download speed. 2. The hosts upload speed. 3. The traffic on the web, your ISP/central internet staition, and the hosts ISP. 4. If you have more programs on the computer running. |

I like it a lot. I'm at the first dungeon. So I'm assuming I'm not very far yet. But it's very nice. Very well made.
I will probably beat it eventually. It's kind of annoying that for the most part you have to be south of the npc's to talk to them though -Gavin |

Right, after playing the game for a long while i can clearly say:
"NICE GAME!" I like it a lot, i had a bit of trouble with the puzzles in the ice caves. I love the mingames placed around the game. I just got to the bit with the water speeder and then i got stuck in one place and had to quit... Other than that its all worked smoothly, thats the only bug ive found and i loved the lighthouse. now i wish i knew where a bigger wallet was, i hate not having more than 500... 10/10! |

Gah... stuck, and in the worst place: I've gotten BAD END and don't know how to get the second ending...
I need a better hint for the lower left fossil, I think; I searched the entire second dungeon (twice) and couldn't find it. Also, the room with the blue sphere (the first boss after you get mines) never activated for me, not sure why. I was able to walk in, flip the switch, and leave without a fight. Did I miss something there? And a glitch with the hit-the-ball minigame: Pressing enter during the minigame causes the game to be "started over": The timer resets, you lose money, and another ball is spawned... but it doesn't get rid of the first one. This is actually very fun once you get the "minigame upgrade", as you can have ten or so balls at once and get huge scores, especially on medium. I love this game, BTW. I'm just highly addicted to it at the moment, and too driven by the need to get the other ending to write a review. Oh, and "I want my flask empty." works for me. ...But I can't find anything else that does... Also, is it intentional that your flask is emptied if you give a wrong answer? EDIT: And if it's not too spoilery, how do you get into the small building to the left of the main HGA facility? This post has been edited by MaxAstro: Oct 4 2006, 09:57 PM |

QUOTE (theprogram00 @ Oct 2 2006, 08:39 PM) I like it a lot, i had a bit of trouble with the puzzles in the ice caves. I love the mingames placed around the game. I just got to the bit with the water speeder and then i got stuck in one place and had to quit... That sounds slightly serious. Could you take a screenshot of where it happened? Even if you can't get it to occur again, I might be able to if I know exactly where and in which room the problem occurred. QUOTE (Tebbo @ Oct 2 2006, 09:47 PM) So, with a full flask (of either type of Coffee), having the flask in the first place, entering that string does nothing? Are you sure you have the flask and it had something in it? QUOTE (MaxAstro @ Oct 4 2006, 09:56 PM) I need a better hint for the lower left fossil, I think; I searched the entire second dungeon (twice) and couldn't find it. Right-hand branch of the statue city... QUOTE (MaxAstro @ Oct 4 2006, 09:56 PM) Also, the room with the blue sphere (the first boss after you get mines) never activated for me, not sure why. I was able to walk in, flip the switch, and leave without a fight. Did I miss something there? I can fix that easily, but I'd also rather understand what caused it in the first place. Did you do anything special before going into that room, such as leaving and re-entering the dungeon? Did you significantly advance any progress anywhere else first? QUOTE (MaxAstro @ Oct 4 2006, 09:56 PM) And a glitch with the hit-the-ball minigame: Pressing enter during the minigame causes the game to be "started over": The timer resets, you lose money, and another ball is spawned... but it doesn't get rid of the first one. This is actually very fun once you get the "minigame upgrade", as you can have ten or so balls at once and get huge scores, especially on medium. Ouch. Fixed - will be stable in next version. QUOTE (MaxAstro @ Oct 4 2006, 09:56 PM) Oh, and "I want my flask empty." works for me. ...But I can't find anything else that does... Also, is it intentional that your flask is emptied if you give a wrong answer? No, and as far as I can see it doesn't happen. Where do you mean 'wrong answer', and what happened exactly? That would help a lot. QUOTE (MaxAstro @ Oct 4 2006, 09:56 PM) EDIT: And if it's not too spoilery, how do you get into the small building to the left of the main HGA facility? You don't.... yet. QUOTE (Srehpog) I can fix that easily, but I'd also rather understand what caused it in the first place. Did you do anything special before going into that room, such as leaving and re-entering the dungeon? Did you significantly advance any progress anywhere else first? I don't think so. Can't exactly remember, but I'm pretty sure I was just going through normally. I thought it wierd at the time, but assumed I'd go back and there'd be a boss fight there later in the game, so I didn't take special note of it. Then later in the game came and there still wasn't one, so... I plan to go through the game a second time, so I'll let you know if that happens again. I do know that it was before I'd beaten the water serpent boss, but that's about all I remember. Also, I'd explored pretty much everywhere around the lake. QUOTE (Srehpog) No, and as far as I can see it doesn't happen. Where do you mean 'wrong answer', and what happened exactly? That would help a lot. Several times I've entered random things in (I think I noticed it when I was trying "I want some Coffee in my flask."), it'll say "Stop wasting my time.", and then my flask is empty. Actually, there have been several times when my flask was empty and shouldn't have been (the one that pissed me off most was when I had a full flask of Supreme Blend and then suddenly at some point it became normal Coffee without me taking lethal damage or pushing the button). However, I'm not entirely sure it's a glitch, as I'm using a gamepad and it's possible I pushed the button without noticing it, or that my gamepad is buggy. QUOTE (Srehpog) You don't.... yet. Hmm.... mysteeeerious.... EDIT: More comments, more questions, more bugs... Found the fossil. WOW that thing is hidden well. If my friend hadn't happened to say something random that distracted me from making my way through one of the rooms, I never would have found it... There are WAY too many places on that side of the dungeon that look like there should be something there but isn't, like the one place that looks like a door to the left but isn't, and the two circles of stones that have nothing in the middle (Zelda veteran tip: If you're going to have a circle of stones, for the love of the Triforce put something in the middle, or you'll drive people like me insane... Speaking of not being able to go places, is it possible to get to the floating chest in the first dungeon, or the open building at the bottom of NSV? Also, the 200-credit recovery stations don't actually fill your ammo to capacity like they say they do; they seem to give you 50 bullets and 10 mines, even if your capacity is bigger. Also also, I can't figure out how to get the next size mine bag (I have the 20 one). I'm not asking for a hint yet... but I might need one soon... Wow, you got to the last chapter with the smallest money bag and the smallest mine bag? That's kinda impressive...
Anyway, here's a few hints: The New Samosa Museum is looking for fossils; perhaps you could help them out? Surely there'd be something in it for you... Ever noticed those strange shadows on the ground? There must be something to them; maybe you should try to clear some Space around them. The research on explosives is progressing well... and perhaps now someone has a use for large, fireproof bags? Hope those help. I wasn't sure exactly how much of a hint you needed, but those should be plenty. |

Thx, i had found 3 fossils but never realised the person behind the counter could give a 1000 credit bag, if only i knew sooner!
I also found the 20 bomb bag theres a few things which i have treid quite a few times: 1) sea serpent (the one thats to the left of dugeon 2 - not sure what i'll accieve) 2) final boss - managed to defeat 1st stage and floating eye, died when he has 2 legs left. 3)cant find place where you buy 4 bombs upgrade (for rock) 4)still havnt found metal for extra gun (linked to 3 maybe?!???) 5) havnt got "F" Great game love it. in fact i'm gonna score it: gameplay: 20/20 - very professional, better than some retail games. - would be a great GBA game sounds and music: 10/10 - simple yet pleasing. replay value: 8/10 - I would replay this game. maybe not straight away though. difficulty: 10/10 - just my level. challenging but makes you come back until you complete it 96% WELL DONE! |

QUOTE (theprogram00 @ Oct 8 2006, 12:01 PM) 1) sea serpent (the one thats to the left of dugeon 2 - not sure what i'll accieve) He's really, REALLY hard without the gun upgrade. Get it, and he dies pretty fast.QUOTE (theprogram00 @ Oct 8 2006, 12:01 PM) 2) final boss - managed to defeat 1st stage and floating eye, died when he has 2 legs left. Not bad. You really need all the ammo upgrades to have a solid chance against him, not to mention... Wait a minute. You got to the LAST STAGE of the final boss WITHOUT the Flask?!? You, sir, are dedicated. Get the Flask and you should be able to kill him as long as you bring some Coffee.QUOTE (theprogram00 @ Oct 8 2006, 12:01 PM) 3)cant find place where you buy 4 bombs upgrade (for rock) Well... Maybe you should look for someone who knows a lot about bombs? QUOTE (theprogram00 @ Oct 8 2006, 12:01 PM) 4)still havnt found metal for extra gun (linked to 3 maybe?!???) Maybe... Here's an unrelated hint, though: Assuming you have 20 bombs and 100 bullets, you should really talk to that guy after you blow up the rock... come back a little later, anyway...QUOTE (theprogram00 @ Oct 8 2006, 12:01 PM) 5) havnt got "F" Well, what did the Sea Serpent steal? Maybe you can get it back?EDIT: Also, more questions, comments, and glitches for Srehpog: First, add the chest one screen right of the bomb factory to my list of "how the heck are you supposed to get THERE?". Secondly, is there supposed to be a crystal reward for Bagatelle, the robot wars, or the shooting range? 'Cuase I can't seem to get one for any of those. Thirdly, could you make it so that the symbols that you clear after the first three still change to the "cleared symbol" shape? Just as a matter of pride/obsessive completeness I'm trying to beat all of them, and it's hard to remember which I've done since they don't change. Speaking of which, beating all of the symbols instead of just three should probably give a reward of some kind... Oh, and I finally found the last rifle upgrade, and the last two mine upgrades. Yay! I really should of thought of where they were sooner... This post has been edited by MaxAstro: Oct 9 2006, 04:16 PM |

WOO I COMPLETED THE GAME!! That ending was harsh but i had a feeling that would happen. I realised that the game should have been A LOT easier. In the end i found everything i hadn't done linked. (thx MaxAstro) Now then how many endings are there and how would you go about getting it.... hmm |

Wow. Its just like....wow. I'm just in awe. Its a game on par with the Zelda titles (minish cap, four swords) its just SO amazing! The quality, attention to detail, storyline, puzzles, enemies. AWSOME! 100000\10!
Just outta curiosity, is the a Walkthrough for this game anywhere? I'm not good at puzzles and would like a walkthrough! |

Bugs. Waaah.
Version 21.10.2006 Get it here. Some very minor fixes: QUOTE (theprogram00) not quite the bug i had, but still serious. before i managed to end up half in the sea and half on land so i couldn't move. This time i ended up in the sea but managed to get back on land. Fixed - I knew there'd be a couple more places like that... QUOTE (MaxAstro @ Oct 6 2006, 09:12 PM) I don't think so. I think I've fixed this. Looking back at the code....I don't know what I was doing, but it should be OK now. Very bizarre that I wrote what I did and that no-one noticed before now. QUOTE (MaxAstro @ Oct 6 2006, 09:12 PM) Several times I've entered random things in (I think I noticed it when I was trying "I want some Coffee in my flask."), it'll say "Stop wasting my time.", and then my flask is empty. I've tried that with nearly every combination of flask and request, but nothing seems to go wrong. Perhaps it is just your joypad? If it still happens though, do let me know. QUOTE (MaxAstro @ Oct 6 2006, 09:12 PM) Speaking of not being able to go places, is it possible to get to the floating chest in the first dungeon, or the open building at the bottom of NSV? Maybe. QUOTE (MaxAstro @ Oct 6 2006, 09:12 PM) Also, the 200-credit recovery stations don't actually fill your ammo to capacity like they say they do; they seem to give you 50 bullets and 10 mines, even if your capacity is bigger. Fixed. They shouldn't strictly be saying 'to capacity', as you point out. QUOTE (MaxAstro @ Oct 8 2006, 09:49 PM) Secondly, is there supposed to be a crystal reward for Bagatelle, the robot wars, or the shooting range? 'Cuase I can't seem to get one for any of those. There are for the Bagatelle and shooting gallery (assuming you mean the one is NSV) - can you still not get them? Apologies for the delay - there was, unsurprisingly, a lot to do. |

I'm stuck in the third room of the pyramid dungeon. I need more time to set off all three switches. I'm trying to use a mine/rifle combination to solve it, but so far, it doesn't work.
