QUOTE (arao @ Jun 25 2006, 09:12 PM) QUOTE (darkwater @ Jun 25 2006, 05:55 AM) Ok. Did you download the 20mb file? or the smaller one? Did you unzip the file? I tried both the 20mb version and the smaller one, and unzipped the file both times. And I've checked that the music is turned on. |

Well, the smaller version doesn't contain the OST at all, so it's no surprise the music doesn't play there.
With the 'big' version, though, I don't know why that could be happening. There's a bit of renaming involved, so if your system's preventing Ark 22 renaming the files in the folder that might be why. Otherwise if everything's unzipped together....it should work. I don't know - anyone? No other news this week, although there'll be a download available, plus a walkthrough and review up at reloaded.org at some point soon - I'll keep you posted. |

Erm, This might sound stupid... but....
Could you upload a version that doesn't change the resolution? My monitor can't handle the resolution you set it too... |

This is one of the best GM games that I have ever played. Professional quality, and a great style. I was hoping that there would be leveling up, but still an amazing game.
graphics:10/10 Perfectly fit the style... gameplay:10/10 Great (and fiffcult puzzle) story:10/10 Greatly thought out Overall:10/10 One of the best (if not the best) GM game made. |

Never mind about the music, I still don't know what was wrong, but it seems to be working now.

Hi Srehpog, first of all thank you for the game. I haven't downloaded it, but I plan to do so in the near future. I just have a couple of questions here.
QUOTE (Srehpog @ Jul 14 2006, 05:56 PM) No other news this week, although there'll be a download available... 1. Do you mean there will be a new version of the game? What is the latest version number? Can we check for the version in the game? 2. If in the future you plan to update the game, for example for bug fixes etc., do you also plan to create a patch or do I have to redownload the whole game again? 3. Where is the most reliable link to the latest version of the game? Is it http://www.jessetyler.net/ark22.zip ? QUOTE (Srehpog @ Jul 14 2006, 05:56 PM) ...plus a walkthrough and review up at reloaded.org at some point soon - I'll keep you posted. 4. Can you give me a roughly estimated date on when it will be posted at Reloaded.org? Thanks in advance. This post has been edited by rabadi: Aug 4 2006, 04:04 AM |

QUOTE (sbizzle @ Jul 29 2006, 11:43 PM) Awesome game If you buy the AWC-400 machinegun upgrade you should have an easier time of it. You'll need the 4-bombs upgrade and the metal ore. Quite right. Thanks, fixed. QUOTE (rabadi @ Aug 4 2006, 04:02 AM) Hi Srehpog, first of all thank you for the game. I haven't downloaded it, but I plan to do so in the near future. Thanks in advance. 1. Sorry, I should have said "review", although there will also be a download link. I'll always update all available downloads concurrently so in theory when there are several downloads they'll all be as recent as possible. 2. No, there's no patching system (although these days there should be no bugs anyway), but there is an alternative zip file which contains only the game .exe, at about 6Mb. Find it here. 3. That's right. 4. No, not at all. It might be this weekend, or it might be in weeks. I'll let everyone know when it is, though. QUOTE (Roninator @ Aug 4 2006, 01:58 PM) Go to a save station - they're red computer terminals found in most settlements, and occasionally in other places. There aren't any on the ship, though - you have to wait until you get to the first village. News A slightly new version now (26.7.2006), although the changes aren't terribly important, despite one of them being potentially fatal. Firstly, the credits now contain an extra name. Secondly, you can no longer lock yourself out of the second dungeon by leaving it at the right time. The reason for this bug is that the game checks to make sure that you haven't been back to the title screen since your last visit to D2 when you enter, and if you have, resets everything, including the statue which blocks the stairs! If you've already opened it it can't be 're'opened, so you get stuck. Now, though, it's fixed. In other news, Ark's now available at GameMakerGames.com, too. Not sure if that's important, but there you go. As ever, thanks for the support and feedback. I'll post something new soon, I promise. This post has been edited by Srehpog: Aug 5 2006, 04:34 PM |
