I occasionally skim through the Game Maker Creations forum looking for a nice little minigame to occupy some time. Especially when I tire of my other games.
I stumbled on to this, downloaded it, was taken aback at its size, and booted it up. Consider me stunned. This level of polish and professional quality is seldom seen in here. Not only do you have a working game system, with solid gameplay and little-no clunkyness, but you have given it a certain sheen of quality. It's obvious that you spent a lot of time and effort on this, and I wanna join in with the others in saying: It's payed off. You've got a real gem here, and you should be darn proud. I'm really looking forward to devoting some real time to this. Keep up the excellent work! |

Very good game. A couple glitches here and there but nothing to effect the gameplay. I especially loved the starting sequence. I can really tell you put a ton of work into this. You have inspired me man. Great work.

QUOTE (TheRhinoGuy @ May 30 2006, 10:09 PM) 2-Things aren't explained very well, in the story as well as in the game. 4-There are a few minor bugs, and as I said before, this game is just shy of perfection. I know this all might mean more coming from someone a little more important, lol, but you have yourself a fan I think I might rewrite some of the dialogue cutscenes, though I don't know if it'll form part of a new version upload. If you notice any bugs, then please tell me - I'll fix anything that needs it, even at this stage. And no, you're wrong, it does mean plenty that you enjoy Ark so much. If your listing is truly accurate then I'm overjoyed and amazed you liked it to this extent. Really makes the whole thing worthwhile. Finished it yet? QUOTE (Teeto_K @ Jun 2 2006, 09:15 PM) Please do, and thanks. If you notice anything wrong, don't forget it. QUOTE (Venomblood @ Jun 3 2006, 02:56 AM) Im stuck after the mahine gun boss. I got the statue, marbles, batteries, map, and laser rifle but now what??? I cant figure out whrer to go. Get directions from the hut north of NSV, and the map. Use the directions to cross the plains. There, talk to people. QUOTE (FirePaw @ Jun 3 2006, 08:28 PM) I love this game. Definently the best GM game ive played. Though I would like to know how to use coffee that is in your inventory. You don't. Coffee is a one-time pickup in the game, like hearts in Zelda. The inventory box is only to provide information on it. The same goes for everything else - if you can use it, it'll give you the option. Otherwise, it's just for show. Don't forget the Directive box, too. News Nothing this week.....still waiting for final-version upload to come though. It's nothing big: - Increased difficulty of bank account questionnaire. - Fixed minor bug with message-box display in a room in 3rd dungeon. - Massively improved FPS on game boss, pyramid boss, and NW battle scene. Eventually.... Thanks everyone. This post has been edited by Srehpog: Dec 6 2007, 10:36 AM |

I would just like to say that the game has been spread across my school, and links e-mailed to all my friends of this game! This game deserves the most attention of all the GM games on the site(well...RPG's at least!)

I've playd this game a few months ago and got stuck on the sea snake part, but I got a new computer and I just downloaded the new version and I cant figure out how to get past the place in the east with the snowstorm. Last time someone told me the directions but I cant remember them....
BTW nice game, keep up the good work. edit: NVM I just read his last post... QUOTE Get directions from the hut north of NSV, and the map. Use the directions to cross the plains. There, talk to people. But whats NSV? This post has been edited by Crusader: Jun 5 2006, 04:37 PM |
