You are not alone. What is wrong with me? Why can't I like this game. It gets a 9/10 from me but i hated it! Grr! It was very well made and all but the story just didn't get me. I just found it boring. I hate myself! WHY AM I THE ONLY HATER OF THIS GAME? Oh right, because it is so good and that is why. I really wish i could like this...
Yeah, it's a well made game. Yes, it had a lot of work put in it. But, the story was a bit bland and the mood was dry. It basically is a good game lacking polish that could have been a lot better with a few tweaks here and there.

I would consider that a complement if I worked on this game. It seems that you are judging this game by commercial standards. Of course, this is just a GM game, but it is one of the best GM games ever made even though it was released almost three years ago.You are not alone. What is wrong with me? Why can't I like this game. It's not. Even though it's a GM game, it doesn't excuse the dry mood. Games like Mage Craft and Seiklus, made long before Ark 22, had excellent moods. They had living environments.I would consider that a complement if I worked on this game. It seems that you are judging this game by commercial standards. Samosaphone cheats menu:
To dial the Samosaphone, enter "1-800-24328-63" or "18002432863", and answer the greeting with any reasonable derivation of the following: "Hi" or "Hello" or "Good day" or "Greetings" or "Ahoy" or "Yo" or "Hallo" or "Evening" or "Afternoon".
Heh... I've known about the 1-800-CHEAT-ME for ages... but, I don't know where to dial the number. How would I go about doing this? Thanks!

I agree. I just couldn't get into the character development, which is an important factor in long drawn out fantasy games. It's a decent game and all, lots of stuff, but I couldn't bring myself to go very far without pressing the escape button. I usually dig 2D/3D RPG games too.

There's a keypad on the table in the large building straight North of the starting village, directly opposite the door on the bottom floor as you go in. You can interact with it as usual and speak to... someone on the other end. I'm really not sure who.

Can't please everyone.
You've done a good job of pleasing most people. I mean, a topic doesn't reach 48 pages for nothing.
EDIT:
Plus, you should consider the fact that Kafeithekeaton is a Mr. Kubus fan.

I'm stuck in the 3rd dungeon. I can get past the darkened room but I can't get to the teleporter on the other side. I'm not sure how to get rid of the shimmering disc thing for the second time.
There are three exits to this room in total - one on the right of the North face, where you come in; one on the far left which is illuminated by a ring (which disappears once you reach it), and one on the right of the South face, basically opposite the top entrance. If you've only been through one of those, try to reach the other. I'm doing this from memory so it may be a little.... wrong.I think that's it though.
I'm having this problem too. I go out the bottom exit of the darkened maze, go south along the brown cliff and use the teleporter, then come out and go up into the cave. I fight a thing with tentacles that appears when you sword swipe the red orb, then when it's dead one of those beige discs with the red orb appears. I go back to the room through the exit with the blue ring, but the other beige red-orb disc blocking the way is just flashing...
EDIT: Okay, I worked it out. You've got to sword slice the ring in the tentacle beast chamber.
