Ragdolls are simlpy objects held together by joints with angle limits etc. Not that hard to do if you look into it.

hey coderchris, are you going to make a tutorial about this, because its quite difficault to use if you don't really know how to use it. I havent been able to find any other tutorials.

Exactly. :) I wish he would come back and make a new version... I am going to look for his last post and see if he said anything about leaving or a new version...*super-cool spy music starts*

Edit: I found his last post, it was on May 5th 2008, he said nothing about leaving or a new version, it looks as if GMPhysics is now unsuported by anyone... If only someone had the source dll file, they could continue this. If no one has, I hope Chris comes back someday...

Anything can happens in this world. That's why I always include the source to my dll's in the zip. If I leave in any way shape or form, at least a couragous programmer can use the source to add or fix things in the dll.

Hmm, I hope chris is OK... Maybe he actually DID get hurt/died/anything else... I mean, how would we know? That's something I think of... I have lots of friends on the internet, if I died, who would tell them about the tragedy?

It's a pretty safe bet that he's okay - a little google searching confirms that. In fact, his STEAM profile says he's online right now.

I was looking for a 2D Physics engine for my platform game. I choosed GMPhysics and tried to make a little platform game. I added physics to boxes. They are moving great when i add them in the game ( By using mouse Button . I added a simple script for adding box to the room in game.)I can add lots of boxes to the room with this way. But when i try to add lots of box object in room(while creating room in Game maker) it causes a problem , when i start game some of the boxes stuck at top left corner and when i try to add a box , game crashes... Because of this problem i cant add more then 20-25 bodies(object with physics) to a room...

I have GMphysics 4 and i'm using this physics engine for my game. My problem is with GMphysics 4 :rolleyes:

ok, anyone know how to make a flowing cape with this thing????? I've searched for about two full hours and can't find squat on how to make a decent physics-oriented cape :whistle:
...like in "The Cleaner"
