Try googleSketchup for 3D modeling, its free but you will probably need to use a diferent program to convert the files to a usefull type.

I have the last few days been working on making (graphical) buttons for various interfaces that I may or may not implement in the future. My intention for the graphics is to make a more complex level editor of sorts for future games, if I ever get to it that is. And instead of just hogging these for myself I thought I'd make the community a small favor and share them (as well as feel a little warm and fuzzy inside!).

They are perhaps not the most aesthetically perfect graphics in the world, but they are designed to be easy to understand. Note that these are only graphics - how you actually implement them into working buttons is of course a completely different question.

The buttons I've been working on are in the dimensions 32x32, PNG format, rounded "transparent" corners (though no real PNG alpha). Each button have its unique icon, and come in 3 versions representing the states "unpressed" (aka "depressed"), "pressed" and "disabled".

At the time of writing there are 80+ different buttons in the archive, divided into these categories:

Edit
File
Info
Layers
Miscellaneous
Navigation
Numbers and Math
Recording and Audio
Window and Dialog
Special - Editor
(quite specifically made for my own purposes)

These can be used freely if anyone would like to, and I would naturally appreciate being credited if you do. But, I have to warn you that I'm afraid I can't take any requests. I simply don't have the time.

Here are some samples:

Download them here:

Dan Eriksson

This is a must see Character Animation Program.
;)
Its Called Animeeple. http://www.animeeple.com

What doesnt Animeeple do for Character Animation?

It has FBX, BVH Collada Second Life Avatar Import /Export and Automatic Skeletal
Retargeting.

And its Totally FREE

Animeeple is a mash-up tool for 3D character animation. You can take some
character animations, edit/sequence them how you like, and put them onto a character.

Our hope is that when you use Animeeple you don't have to worry about themessy
details like file formats and skeletons. That's why we do retargeting
automatically, and why we want to support lots of different file formats.

We hope this tool will be useful for people who need 3D animation but who don't
necessarily want to get into the gory details. We've designed it for virtual
world users, casual video game creators, and people who like making 3D movies

I would like to point out that anyone looking to make a custom font for a foreign language can go to cooltext.com, as it accepts many languages and can save characters as image files.
