I made cel shading outline in gamemaker. If someone doesn't know what is cel shading then i will try to tell you. Cel shading gives 3d world a 2d look. Like outlines for 3d objects. Like in game called XIII.
Download it here.

Tell me what you think.

Edit:

It is bad documanted. (Not documanted at all)

But here you can read how I did it.

Despite not liking cel-shading, it is pretty cool=)

cant wait to see practical applications

I don't think there can be a practical application for it=p but it would be awesome to see in a game;)

Wow! Really cool tutorial you got here! I will definately use this if i make any 3d games. <_<

EDIT***
I just noticed that your tutorial doesn't work with Ellipsoids, and I figured out how to fix it. Instead of drawing cylinders for your 3D object's cell shading, use a ellipsoid. hehe. :( Same thing goes for cones.

Pretty cool, check out my platform engine (link in my sig) with cel-shaded graphics. I did a version with an outline once but I thought it looked better like it does now.
