Sept. 24: Duck Doom Deluxe has been chosen for the GMC Cage Match. Thanks, unknown avenger! As a result I've finally decided to move the bandwidth-exceeded images to a new host.
![]() Recently featured on G4's Attack of the Show!! DUCK DOOM Deluxe a HelpTheWretched Production™ by Noproblo Games Made with GM 5.3 (uses exclusive graphics mode at 320x240) An overhaul upgrade to the original Duck Doom, featuring new difficulty levels, graphics effects, remixed music & enhanced sound, the BFG-9000, and more! Here are some screenshots to show the game's title screen and new features. ![]() Update Aug. 2008! After nearly THREE full years, Duck Doom Deluxe finally has its own dedicated host and official website. To download Duck Doom Deluxe (6.38Mb), Visit the Official Website here. This sudden change is due to a company's request to include DDD on a "Best of Freeware" compilation CD, and the author requiring a URL and contact address; I chose to give Duck Doom its own site rather than give GMC's bandwidth another assault. In addition, several small updates were made to the game's text file and menu controls. Thank you to everybody who previously mirrored Duck Doom Deluxe! I will be seeking my own new mirrors this time around, but any offers with stable hosts would be appreciated. Enjoy the game - Comments and feedback are welcome as always. Ah, such a great idea.
The game is quite well done, graphically. It is very easy or maybe the rounds are just too long, so it is kind of boring. You should make it so you can get different weapons. Or can you? If you can, you should get the second one sooner. Etc. What do you mean you don't have to take crap from that dog? I tried to shoot him.. |

Mm hmm.. pretty positive feedback so far. Thanks.
A fairly big bug was just fixed and re-uploaded. Knew I was forgetting something when I saved the game. I realize it's a little "boring" but that's just how Duck Hunt is. When you get to the later rounds, the ducks move much faster and you need to conserve your ammo, while using the weapons with the best range. And you get a new weapon every 3 rounds until you've got all 6. I apologize for not having the BFG9000 in there, it was too much. Believe me, punching the dog was one of the first ideas I had for this. There are three cheat codes - one is kind of revealed in the FAQ, but the other two are minor ones so I'll tell you them: 1. In 1-duck mode, press C and G together to make a Doom imp hold up the ducks instead of your dog. If you don't use this code, the imp will make random appearances. 2. Press Backspace to show your shots with black dots. Works best with the shotguns. This post has been edited by HelpTheWretched: Oct 30 2004, 03:16 AM |

hahaha.... that was fun!
A very well-made remake of the classic Duck Hunt game with an interesting twist. Good job! QUOTE And this time, you don't have to take crap from that dog. Awww... I was hoping that I would be able to shoot the dog and get him out of the picture early on |

QUOTE (Kumori Karasu @ Oct 30 2004, 04:28 AM) this is my score i got to round 21 with 2 ducks..... i needed 100% to contuinue and i failed.... Pretty good score, those 20's rounds are hard and there's not much reward for going further, except for bonus points. To be honest, I haven't even playtested the game all the way through, I only tried different rounds while making it. |

Haha that was fun, I played until I had all the weapons and then quit. Dude, that was amazing, I didn't think that a mixture of Duck Hunt and Doom could be so cool.

QUOTE I fully expect somebody to come forward and say they've already made a Duck Doom game, it may not be the most original idea, but I think I pulled off this one well. The Simpsons Already Did It! |

Wow! C00l game!
I pissed off at round 17. Is it possible to kill a duck with the last weapon? Cool game! Sometimes the beast comes up holding the duck even without the cheat This post has been edited by Sektor_Z: Oct 30 2004, 01:37 PM |

I like the idea. But you should make the ducks and bkg doom style graphix too. one glitch found: the duck flys behind the tree. he should fly in front. and the ducks should spurt blood. but a very good game!
