Proud to present after about 5 months of work, Mini Golf Pro!

This is not your average mini golf game. Here are some of the features!

*More than 25 holes filled with different obstacles like fans, transporters, rotating platforms, and even mines!
*Level Editor made by Shaltif. You can do pretty much anything. You can make your own tile sets or even your own objects. There will be a help file for that soon.
*Multiplayer for up to 5 people on the same computer or online!
*Online high score tables so you can see who the real pro is.
*Mini Games! Try the gravity tower which could probably be its own game it’s so unique.

Time for some screenshots!

I played it, and I have a few comments :D

-Slow framerate, 10 frames per second is just unacceptable.
+Superb graphics.
+I loved the shadows.
-The bird is always above everything no matter how the perspective looks
-I have to buy it to try out the full features.
+I loved how you could choose from many balls to play with (Not to be taken literally, of course ;))

--Would you like a full review to be in the GM Magazine?

It uses a lot of the alpha functions of gm6 so I suppose you need a pretty decent graphics card to handle the 30fps.

The bird's shadow was made really light so you wouldn't notice it. Obviously you did though. :D

You can review it. I know it will get downgraded for your fps though =)

This is by far my favorite of your games, and you have made some beauties man. I love the Gravity Tower. That was some of the most fun that I have had MultiPlaying in some time.

Though I have never won a Multiplayer match, I will. Oh yes, I will!

I have nothing but praise for this game. The amount of detail on each course is to be expected and given the highest of accolades.

A crowning achievement of video game making from one of the premier up and coming young indie game developers. Watch out world S64 is a coming!

A very well made game and should keep people entertained for a long time to come. The level editor that comes with the game is very open and allows for some really custom levels (don't think your limited to what's already in shawn's game).

I've made a simple help document for those wanting to make a map at this location:

Mini Golf Pro Mapping Help

That should get people at least started on developing their own maps. Also, there will be plenty of support via shawn's forum if you have any questions.

The SCC is only my second major work (following the SXMS that I'm known for) so lets see how well it holds :D.

I'll be definatly making some maps for this, so for those wondering if it's worth the registering, consider this. A registered user gets to see all the newly created content from any player and can play these creation's online with anyone. So it will constantly have new content to explore and new ways to own your competition.

Anyway, I wish shawn well with this game and I hope it becomes even more popular than any of his previous works. The replay value in this game (at least, for a registered user) is way over the top compared to any previous work by shawn.

wooo, been waten for this.
definatly one of the more profesional games ive seen made with gm.
visualy it was very impressive, music was nice, creative ideas on the course and such were also a great plus.

only complaints i had was the very slow framerate (11 fps on this computer? doesnt sound right...) and the fact that you have the buy the full version. but hey im just cheap :-p

Exceptional work as always Shawn (I don't want to give a full review until I have the registered version... that way I can compliment Shaltif at the same time :D)

Just to let you know, you are not having speed problems with everyone here who plays this game. It held a steady 30FPS for me. Interesting course. Great graphics. Good music.

I am anxious to try out the level editor and multiplayer soon ;)

Look!
The fan is at a strange angle, the trees are from a side view, and some things are top down!
Make up your mind!

Oh, and in the first image, I can see that the shadow of the fan blades are.....off.

The gameplay is it's selling point, not the GFX (although they are good). Also, keep in mind that you can import your own graphics if your making your own maps...so why does it matter that "oh, the shadow is off" when you can make your own map where it isn't =P

Frankly, I think it all meshes good for the person that "lets art flow over them" rather than pointing out every single possible mistake you can find. Enjoy the game and give some comments, don't just point out the negatives.

I've seen alot of golf games... Its good but sorta lacks alot for a price tag of 10 dollars.. The graphics are alright...as well as the sounds. Its just very similar to other golf games. You need to add more to it like characters or something. GJ anyways

This game is terrific!

Anytime, any member, makes a serious attempt at going indie with Game Maker it's good for GM and the community. Good Luck.

If you expect to be taken serious when talking about poor performance, you have to state your machine specs. I found performance fine.

I just have a few comments to make on this game.
1) The game rocks. Not to many games that I have downloaded are near any kind of quality to want to continue to play more than once. (Including my own)
This game I not only found myself playing a few times but my wife wanted to play as well, which must be good because I always get introuble for playing games.
2) Ok so maybe some of the GFX were at different angles, Didnt really seem to bother me, in fact I didnt even notice, I was to involved in the game play.
3) Menu I must say was by far the most professional menu I have seen from GM. I felt like I had just bought a new game.
And finally
4) I seemed to average about 25 FPS I really do not have the best CPU around, but had no problems with any noticable lag.

Over all I loved the game, the best I have played around here. Great job.

Shaltif Im extremlly impressed by this Dynamic GML thing. I was gonna do the same thing in one of my games (not exactlly the same) but man you got a great engine there.

Ive played online and it worked great No lag nothing like that though Im pretty sure that 56kers will not be able to play without lag.

And Shaltif this sorta goes with the First thing I said but the level editor is extroidinary I bet youll get alot of other H-unit members that will want to use this as well. Great work to you both but I figured I would post a bit towards Shaltif.

Great Job you guys and May I suggest shawn that you have a level making contest and then give the winner a key or something. Id be great for the people who cant buy it.

Shawn64 you have to change System Requirements in the readme. It don't work on Windows 98. And I think that it's because of you are using N_Menu.dll if memory serve right I tested it while a go and it didn't work on Win98.

I try it on WinXP and if I am correct you are using N_Menu only in Level Editor, but still game didn't even start on Win98. It jam right after you press the Play Now button.

Really?Im running 98SE and downloading now......Sorry mods.

I think it will be that GM6 only runs at SE.

So.....Yup it wont run.I think its cause its over 10mb.

But i can still have fun by hacking the external recourses!
Ok hacking is a very big word for it.
