QUOTE (JTR @ May 31 2006, 01:22 PM) QUOTE (Finland Games @ May 31 2006, 09:08 PM) Thanks! But I'm sure someone can improve on that. Possibly with a physics dll? I don't know how to use those, though. Bounce into a wall or two, then hold the down arrow... the worm self-destructs. Otherwise, neat demo. I don't really see how a physics dll will help this. |

A physics dll could probably make it a bit smoother, like this rope here: http://forums.gamemaker.nl/index.php?showt...=108356&hl=rope Thanks for your reply. |

I have a pretty good question: When you make the worm "dig around" in the level, the boundary will be limited to the earth-sprite´s width, wich is pretty anoying! Can you tell how I´m supposed to fix that? It would be nice if you also could update this example, so you might could include some extra functions (and explanations, that tells you how to modify stuff like the boundary!). Otherwise, i would like to know how I´m supposed to make the level bigger... I would prefer to get it via PM, thanks, but you can also post it here.

ok, I had a go at doing it, although not really snake like, this is still pretty darn cool!
Cool Snake Thing (GM6) its more like controlling an eel underwater, or tail movement --EDIT-- ooh, made a pretty background thing for it, and trails for movement This post has been edited by templargfx: May 27 2007, 02:39 PM |
